About Niffler

My name is Niffler! I'm guessed to be a lab/hound mix and estimated to be about 2 years old. I currently weigh about 45 lbs. and need to gain a few more pounds. I'm a very sweet boy, but all of these new things are a little scary for me. I'm learning to trust people. I'm also learning how to live in a house. My foster dog brother and sisters have really been helping me with that. I am looking for someone who will continue to help me grow and learn. I would also love a fur brother or sister to show me the ropes in my new home. I am food motivated and foster mom says this will help people make friends with me and it will help me learn. I just say keep the hot dogs and treat coming! (This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Niffler is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been neutered. He is best in a home without small children and is not suitable in an apartment, condo or other urban setting.
