About Snoopy

Snoopy has it it all! He is sweet, smart, and funny- definitely good looking- and would be a phenomenal family dog! This dog is so much fun! He loves his people, he loves other dogs, he gets along great with kids. He's really the perfect package, and we don't know why no one has adopted him! Snoopy is 18 months old and weighs about 11 pounds. He is a Chihuahua mix, we believe with Jack Russell. He loves to jump straight up in the air right into your arms and lounge on a float in the pool with his foster mom. We all love Snoopy! You will love him too! He came to us after his people were evicted from the house and left all their dogs behind. Snoopy gets along great with other little dogs, and would love a home with other dogs to play with. He should absolutely be in an active home (one with kids, lots of playing, lots of energy) or in a home with another playful dog. He's used to being with lots of dogs in his prior home and was happy about it! He definitely needs a fenced yard. He has lots of energy and needs to be able to run and play safely! He does well on a leash and loves walks. Snoopy has been around older kids and was fine. He has not been around cats. We think he would probably chase them so he might not be the best fit for a kitty friendly home. Snoopy is very affectionate and loves to be in your lap and sleeps on the big bed at night. He loves being anywhere you are and wants to be next to you. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, is neutered, up to date on shots, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Snoopy is heartworm positive and has started treatment which is covered by the rescue. He will be retested in 12 months (also covered by the rescue) and if he is still heartworm positive we will continue the treatment until he is all clear. Snoopy is such a happy, friendly pup. You will not be able to resist him once he leaps into your arms!
