About Denny

If Denny's adorable snaggle toothed face looks familiar it's likely because he has been with us before. Denny is just a little over a year old but he has already been uprooted so many times already so we are really hoping his next family will be dedicated and patient and stick things out while he gets adjusted. Denny came to us in Feb 2021 and was adopted into a family, however things were not meant to be. Although he did well with one of the dogs in the home he had a few altercations with the other resident dog. We aren't convinced it was all Denny's doing but in the case of safety and not tempting fate at this point we think Denny would do best being placed as an only dog. He did live with kids ages 8-19 and loved them all. He is very sweet guy, just very traumatized by all the changes. Below is his original bio from Feb 2021: A sweet dog with a string of rotten luck Denny lost his most recent family due to insurance restrictions. The loss of his family and being shuffled around to temporary care has caused Denny to be very anxious about losing his people. He is terrified to walk outside currently and pulls to come back inside once he does his business. We know from the past that Denny is a sweet, loving boy who loves his toys and was trained to ring bells to let his family know he needs to go out. Denny is good in a crate and housebroken, although we would expect a few accidents as he gets settled. Denny is up to date on vet care including vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped and tested heartworm negative.
