About Kurtis

Hi! I'm Kurtis and I am an 11 lb., approximately 2 year old, male Chiweenie. I just LOVE to be the center of attention and being touched is one of my most favorite things!! I even tolerate manicures just as long as you pet me after each nail. My hobbies include: rolling in the grass, playing with toys, and chasing a ball. When I chase the ball I usually bring it back, but sometimes I walk off with it to play with it on my own. Because I love chasing and playing so much, someone with a yard would be an ideal match for me. I am a smart boy and with the right owner I feel like I could easily learn some commands. I have already learned 'no'. I usually only bark at stranger danger and when other dogs walk by, but I don't go after them from a distance. My foster mom wanted to add her two-cents, so here it is: 'Kurtis likes to explore, so left unattended he might look for an escape route, even the smallest of options he will try and squeeze through or jump over, as such a fenced yard would be great for him. He loves his food and tends to growl a bit if anyone looks like they may take some from his bowl, but all in all Kurtis is sweet loving guy and a very attentive dog. In his crate sometimes he will whine a bit after you walk away but usually settles in quite nicely for a nap or overnight.' So that's everything about little ol' me!
