About Shae

She is very sweet, house trained, crate trained, and very friendly. She started out life as a dog mostly on a chain until neighbors took her in and welcomed her into their home approximately 9 months ago. She has learned a lot of manners and they have taught her several commands. Shae has gotten along well with another large dog and has also done well with some other pups in the area. She does seem to be a bit protective of food, so she would need to be fed separately from other dogs and also in a home with kids old enough to understand how to be around a dog that is this way. (No toddlers around her while eating, etc.) The currently family separates her when they are having meals due to having small children and to just avoid begging all together. Shae does have some storm anxiety and gets nervous (probably due to her initial life being tied out.) However, if she is inside with her people, there are no destructive behaviors. Just a bit of nervous energy until the storm passes or the fireworks are over. Shae has not been around cats, but her people think that the chase would be on. Ideally, Shae would have a fenced yard to safely play in in her forever home. She is decent on leash and rides in a crate nicely while in the car. She is friendly to those she meets and has no issues with handling. Shae is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
