About Stella and Blaster

We found the 2 babies in the photo 3 days ago in Kiln, MS. We believe they were dumped as we asked all the neighbors around the area they were in and they all said they just started 'seeing them a couple of days ago'. I just cannot leave dogs on the road and because of this I have rehomed many dogs. I do make the adoptive family go through a rigorous approval process (some say its similar to an FBI background check) :) I have taken them to the vet and of course, the little Black and White one we call 'Blaster' Is heartworm positive. The vet gave him all his shots and the shot to kill all the young heartworms. However, the process to kill the adults is very hard on the dog and he needs constant supervision and it is a larger expense. They both are very calm, sweet, love to snuggle, non aggressive and love to play. If we did not have 4 small chihuahuas we would keep them but our dogs are not so nice :| Right now we are trying to adopt them out together since they were found together and we are pretty sure the tan one is the momma of the black one. They love to go for rides in the car and walks. Very loving and sweet.
