About Moose

Moose is ready to find his next forever home. My father took Moose in after following him home numerous times. Now my father has passed away and Moose needs a new home. He is approximately 5 years old, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date with his vet visits. If you are looking for a completely devoted companion look no further. Moose is a big sweetheart who is gentle and loves positive praise. He is head shy, loves chin and cheek rubs. You can often find him at your feet or window gazing. You will not find him on your furniture as he is trained to stay on the floor. He is independent, smart, and responds well to positive reinforcement. He is house trained and trains quickly. He loves long walks, heals well, and will walk on or off leash once bonded. A future adopter should be aware that Moose will hide for an extended time if around yelling directed at him or not. He is resilient and forgiving. Moose will attach and bond quickly to a new owner. He does well when introduced to new people. He especially loves men and car rides. Moose has not been around children so we are not sure how he will respond. He is prey driven and should not be homed with cats. Moose may not respond well to small dogs, so consider a slow introduction. He lives well with larger dogs.�%A0 Moose would be a great emotional support dog and buddy. He is well-mannered and would be an ideal companion. He is very loving with his people!
