SIMPSON: ID #A5427319 Lancaster Shelter, Lancaster, So Cal This handsome younger purebred looking chow came into the shelter just before the 4th of July and no owner has been found. The animal control officer who picked him up described him as fearful but friendly. We are calling him Simpson, and he is now at the Lancaster shelter awaiting a behavior assessment before he can be made adoptable. Simpson is estimated to be 4 years old and does have a full waitlist already, but oftentimes adopters do not meet the requirements or restrictions of LA County, or end up adopting another dog due to time lapse, and or the dog is made Rescue only. Therefore, we are encouraging all interested parties (to foster or adopt) to contact [email protected] and we will provide updates on his status.
