'Hello! My name is Janet and I'm a 9 year old, spunky, little lady that is looking for a home to call my own. I came to SVASC as an owner surrender, after my caretaker threatened to hurt me if I didn't come here. Woo! Lucky me that the staff were available to take me in. At around 9 years old, I may have lost some of that kitten energy, but I'm not planning on slowing down anytime soon and still have plenty of sass to share. I am a lovable, adorable kitty that would make a great match for someone that is looking for a more laid-back friend. I know when to settle in for pats and really enjoy cuddles. I will happily sit in your lap and get pets for hours. If you're looking for a mellow kitty with a side order of spunk, I'm your gal. I'll keep you entertained all day with my silly antics and be sure to round out the even by hanging out on the back of your couch. I do seem to get along okay with other kitties and wouldn't mind sharing a home with them, really. Just remember to take introductions slowly and to ask for pointers if you need any help. SVASC staff are always happy to give out suggestions! I should also do just fine with kiddos, but I'll be honest, I don't know if I'm really a tea party or matchbox kid of cat. I'm probably lean more towards watching them play the Fortnite, really. My adoption fee is $35 to an approved adopter.
