About Cruise

'Top of the morning to ya! My name is Cruise and I was hoping that you might want to take me out for a spin... wink wink. I am a 2 year old or so kitty that came to SVASC in hopes that I could maybe get that fresh start and an adoptive family that I've been hearing about. At 2 years old, I have been through one seriously tough and traumatic experience. You see, I came to SVASC from part of a hoarding situation and am one of 100+ kitties that come through the shelter doors. Thankfully they were around because I needed some real medical attention when I got to the shelter. You may notice, but I have a perma-wink; that's because I had a really nasty and painful eye that just couldn't be safe. But hey! I think that I look that much cuter because of it! I can be a bit of a nervous greeter and so please take your time getting to know me. I am still a young cat and have plenty of time to learn to trust new people! Go slow and we'll be buddies in no time! I should do okay around kids, as long as they can remember to go slow, as well. Other kitties are great and I would love to have new friends; I do feel much happier around another cat, though it isn't a requirement for adoption. My adoption fee is $35 to an approved adopter.
