Lexi was surrendered to us after she was found by a good samaritan out in the middle of nowhere. They kept her for two months, but unfortunately stated they could no longer keep her. It seems like she was used as a breeding dog, then they decided she wasn't useful to them anymore. After being with us for another couple months we did find out she has developed valley fever ($20 per month) and will be on a regiment until she is better. This won't stop her from being adopted as her adopter can continue her treatment and we will provide all of the medical paperwork to you upon adoption. Lexi would do best in a home with other dogs her own size or even a home to call her own. She prefers the company of her owners, but will hang around other dogs. She does quite well on a leash and may need continued training depending on the owners preference. She does well being kenneled and will bark/whimper when she wants to protest being in there.
