About Maggie

Maggie is a 5 year old 'Lovebug' who is a constant companion and snuggler. She was rescued 6 months ago from a loving family who were no longer allowed to keep a larger dog in their small rental. They had had her 10 months after rescuing her from an abusive situation. We picked Maggie up in a pinch when we saw her on Rescueme.org to save her from going to a shelter and have fostered her for 6 months. Since we have had her, we have worked with a professional trainer and she has received her good citizenship award. We can no longer keep her as I need to head to Canada to take care of my 91 year old Mother as well as my ill sister. Post Covid, the border is now opening up and my Mom and sister need my help. We are wanting to rehome Maggie to someone who will love her, give her the attention she needs and in return you will have snuggles for life and a constant feeling of security! A fenced in yard is a must! Maggie gets along with other dogs, but would be best as the focus of your attention. We will need to feel good that Maggie will be well taken care of, she has had some trauma in her past and we can't let that happen again. Please let us know if you can take care of this precious puppy! She is up to date on her shots and in great health! Health records list her as Boxer mix, but she definitely has some 'Pittie' in her with her pink nose!
