About Hank

Hello! My name is Isabelle and my husband and I recently adopted a pit mix from a shelter. We have noticed that he's starting to become aggressive. He went after our old dog for getting too close to his toy. (Which is understandable) but then today my husband and I were walking him when he escaped from his collar and went after another dog. The owner immediately picked his dog up and was trying to protect him. It was on a busy street and our dog LATCHED onto the other dogs thigh. It took all the strength my husband and I had to rip him off the other dog. Thankfully our neighbors ran over and helped us control him. We absolutely cannot keep him. We have 3 other dogs and a 2 year old with a baby girl due in December. I'm now so worried for their safety. We're very sad but feel like it's the right thing to rehome him for this reason. But we absolutely do not want to take him back to the shelter. When we adopted him they told us he had been there for a month and we were the only family interested in him. I'm worried that if we take him back he may be put down. So basically I'm sending you this email because I wanted to see if you guys take in dogs? We really want help and are desperate to not take him back to the shelter. Thank you for reading all of this!
