About Mushu

Adoptions are scheduled by appointment only after an application has been filled out and approved. If you are interested in adopting, please download an adoption application from our website TORescue.org and submit it over to us. Please do not visit any shelters or rescue groups prior to coming into ours. We do this to keep our animals healthy and diseases from entering our rescue. Mushu has been adopted twice and returned twice. Even though he does well at the Rescue around our cats we want him to go to a home with no other animals. He doesn't need to compete in a home. He is now 2 1/2 years old, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for leukemia and FIV. He has adjusted nicely and is already looking to free roam with the other cats. We are looking for a family that will not give up on him. The first family returned him because he didn't get along with their cat. The second home had no animals until they moved in with someone who did. And out went Mushu. Stop by and meet our furry friends and see how wonderful and loving they are! The adoption fee is $99, which goes back to saving more animals from hoarding situations, dumps, abandonment, or just neglect.
