About PELE

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. PELE and her siblings (KONA - PRISCILLA - RINGO - FELIX - LULU) were saved from the shelter. They were so scared and underaged, so we had to find a foster quickly! Now PELE is ready for his FUREVER home! PELE is a fierce girl who is leader of the pack! When she came to us she was with 5 of her brothers and sisters. She would sit in the very front of the kennel so she could protect her family from her foster who was trying to socialize them. PELE loves to communicate and will follow you around meowing until you give her wet food. She doesn't like to share with others, she requires her own plate. She loves to play and will come to you for cuddles. PELE is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BENGEL-TABBY MIX. She is a little shy of 3 months old and is good with cats and small children. In her foster home, she was around other kittens and older cats. She has never been around dogs. PELE is currently located at PETSMART In Palm Desert, Ca off Monterey Avenue. JULY 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any PETSMART. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application By Email 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please do not email us asking if the cat is still available. Please email us to request an application or ask questions not answered for you on their ad. W only do MEET & GREETS after the application has been filled out and approved. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. We are an all VOLUNTEER rescue, meaning we are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues.
