About Rosie

Bengal
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

Rosie is a LOVING and sweet 10-year-old Bengal in need of a forever home. Rosie needs a new family because her family is moving to France, and they do not want to put her through the terrible ordeal of traveling in Cargo on an airplane. Rosie's family loves her dearly. She adopted her family at the age of two, when she was allowed to wander the neighborhood. She loved coming to her neighbor's house for visits. When her original family planned a move to ID, they tearfully blessed leaving Rosie behind with their neighbors who loved her so much. Since that time, Rosie has been strictly indoors. She is a beautiful, loving, playful, snuggly girl. She loves to be held by her humans and her contented purrs are LOUD! She sleeps on her human's stomach at night and loved to be kissed on the head. She loves conversation with her humans, and always listens intently to whatever they have to say, and responds accordingly. Rosie loves to 'tunnel' in the covers of her owner's bed. She is just a love bug!! One of Rosie's favorite things is to bat around her toys that rattle when she chases them. She loves to grab onto a chair leg and roll around it doing somersaults - she finds even the smallest things entertaining! She loves her cardboard scratcher, her cat castle with high perches to hang out on, that has sisal rope for her to scratch on (she is really good about never scratching the furniture). Rosie loves to gaze out the windows, when she's not sprinting through the house saying 'catch me if you can!' When her family says 'I'm going to get you!!!' She delightedly scrambles under the bed, waiting to be 'caught.' At which point her family wiggles her feather teaser toy on the fishing wand, letting her bat at it from under the bed. She'll then come dashing out to get it and play chase. She loves that so much! When snuggling with her humans, she loves kisses on the top of her head, and for her humans to talk sweetly and gently to her. She loves to lick her humans in a motherly way. She loves to soothe. Mornings are her most loving times - you simply can't pet her enough! Her little motor just hums and hums along. Rosie is sensitive to her humans. One of her humans has suffered from a long-term health condition. Whenever he's not feeling well - she knows it. If the door is shut, she'll do everything possible to come in and comfort him. He's the one that is able to snuggle her in his arms like a baby (she doesn't let anyone else do that). Her family says: 'We are heartbroken to re-home her. We love the way she 'talks' with us, like she's telling a fascinating story. We love the way she snuggles with us, sleeps with us, plays with us, entertains us with her catnip antics. We love how she will grudgingly eat, just to please us, and in general, how happy she makes us each and every day. We love her facial expressions and her body language, which can be hilarious one moment, and soulful the next. We love how she chose us to be her family and we know we'll never recover from this painful action we're forced to make in finding her a new home. Rosie has not been around children or other cats (at her original home there were other pets and children, and the family believes that this is why she picked a new family'|). For those reasons, Rosie would love to be the 'only Queen' in the home where her humans will be home a lot and eager to give her the love and attention she so yearns. Because she has high energy and is so devoted to her humans, we don't see a reason why she wouldn't be able to check every box her family might be looking for! Rosie is a HEALTHY girl. She has no litter box avoidance issues. She is spayed and microchipped. She did receive all of her vaccinations early in life, and given she's not had access to the outdoors her owners did not see reason to keep vaccinating her (and we agree).
