About Cassie

Cassie is an approx . 7 month old border collie mix being fostered in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She, along with her 4 siblings, were found abandoned in a field in Alabama. Due to this early in her life, she needs to find a patient and loving home willing to work at her pace to make her feel secure. She really likes to be around other dogs and play outside. Cassie needs a well-adjusted, confident, and playful dog in her new home. We feel this will help Cassie be all that she can be and help guide her. Cassie will also need a home with a secure, fenced in backyard. Cassie can be shy with people and needs to be able to warm up. If she comes up to you she will let you pet her, but if you try to come up to her she will still cower. She loves treats and to cuddle on the couch too! She's crate trained and walks nicely on leash. She is almost potty trained. We feel Cassie will do best in a home with children age 10 and up. Cassie is up to date on vaccines, spayed, been on preventions since entering rescue and microchipped.
