About Jazzy

Jazzy (Jazz, Jazzy Girl) German Shepherd Spayed - Microchipped 6-7 Years Old 100 Lbs Jazzy is in need of a loving family to take care of her as her current one is moving for military service and she will unfortunately be unable to follow. She is an affectionate puppy at heart with a very calm demeanor and will always want to be near her caretakers. Her favorite things in the world are car rides, walks, and soft bones she can chew on for hours. She is an indoor dog and would be content with sleeping and eating all day but since she is a larger dog it is important to keep her active and her weight down. She has been an only dog for 5 years and lived with small puppies with her previous owner. She has never lived with cats and likes to chase them out of her yard so we are unsure if she would co-exist with them peacefully in her new home. Jazzy has lived with small children and both men and women her entire life without issue and has never shown any aggression towards them. The only time she will bark is when someone knocks at the door to let us know. She is an incredibly loving and loved dog and we hope to find her a new family that will love her as much as we do. Disclaimer: Unfortunately Jazzy is uncomfortable and anxious being around other large dog breeds and can be defensive if she is not removed from the situation. She is walked nearly every day on a leash in public and has no issue walking past other dogs but is nervous when there are dogs off leash nearby. With this being said, she is an incredibly loving dog towards humans and has lived with small children for the majority of her life without issue.
