About TALLAHASI

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. TALLAHASI was found in a horrible haording situation in Bakersfeild, Ca. The feeder truly believed that she would be better suited as a house cat where she should be loved and spoiled. She is now ready to be just that! TALLAHASI tends to be shy but accepts affection. She will come look for love. Hang out with her human. She likes toys and the cat tree! She DOES NOT like to be picked up. She prefers to run around and keep to herself. TALLAHASI will do well with a cat or dog as her buddy. One that will show her the ropes to be more confident and trusting. Or she can be the QUEEN if her house! She really is a JEM! TALLAHASI is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BOMBAY MIX. She is about 18 months old. She is good with cats. She has never been around children or dogs. TALLAHASI is currently at PETSMART in Murrieta, Ca off Madison Avenue. AUGUST 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any PETSMART. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home ************************** NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS **************************** You can obtain an application one of 3 ways. The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. The 2nd way is to request an application.The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . Please include the pet's name in the SUBJECT LINE and email us directly: [email protected] Please do not email us asking if the cat is still available. Email us to request an application or ask questions not answered for you on their ad. The 3rd way is to find OUR ONLINE APPLICATION form. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. We are an all-VOLUNTEER rescue, meaning we are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues.
