About MAXIMUS

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. MAXIMUS, his siblings (MISSY - MICK - MATEO - MEGAN), his mom MIA, his aunt and her kittens were saved from an outdoor colony. The nice lady that continues to care for her outdoor colony. She reached out to us and we set a plan! We got all the cats outdoor fixed, sent the other mamas to fosters and the kind lady fostered MAXIMUS and his small family. So now MAXIMUS is ready for his FUREVER home! MAXIMUS is a sweet boy. MAXIMUS loves to play by himself or his siblings. He is used to being with alot of cats so he will need a cat buddy. He is nosey and curious. Wants to be in anything you do and everything is a toy. MAXIMUS is a DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINE COON MIX. He is about 5 months old. In his foster home, he was around other kittens and older cats. He has never been around children or dogs. MAXIMUS is currently located at PETSMART in Murietta, Ca off Madison Avenue. SEPTEMBER 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any PETSMART. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home ************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS *********************** You can obtain an application one of 3 ways. The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. You may ask the volunteer if you can briefly meet the cat / kitten. But please be aware some of them might not be comfortable to let you meet the pet due to COVID. The 2nd way is to request an application. The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . Please include the PET'S NAME in the subject line and email us directly: [email protected] Please do not email us asking if the cat is still available. Email us to request an application or ask questions not answered for you on their ad. The 3rd way is to find OUR ONLINE APPLICATION form. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. MAXIMUS is ALREADY fully vetted.
