GIDEON - ID #A5424632 Lancaster Shelter, So Cal Gideon is a handsome young man who came into the Lancaster shelter as a stray. Estimated to be only 2 years young and weighing 51 lbs, although he is listed as a german shepherd, he looks more jindo like, and maybe has some chow with a darker tongue color. The shelter describes him as 'sweet' and said, 'Gideon greeted the runner with a loose body and soft eyes. He was easy to leash and walked well on leash to the catch pen. During his time in the yard he was social and interacted with all the dogs in the yard in an assertive but calm manner. The other dogs never gave him a proper correction but he did accept and respect the handlers stepping in with squirt bottles.' He is therefore recommended with calm dogs and any children must be at least middle school aged and will be neutered by the shelter.
