Luke is an outgoing, playful, special needs kitty. He is a big, handsome boy with a great, big, loving personality to match. He adores attention. Wherever you are is where Luke wants to be. Never having met a stranger, Luke greets everyone and is always in the center of the action. Snuggling, exploring, and playing are his favorite activities. In the evening, Luke often snuggles next to you on the couch. He may noodle a bit to suggest some petting and attention. He likes other cats and enjoys chasing and wrestling with his foster buddies. It's no surprise that this friendly boy has a heart on his left foot. Unfortunately, Luke has a heart condition that was discovered during a routine exam before neutering. Testing revealed his heart is enlarged and there is a partial obstruction in the main artery from the heart. Observing Luke, you would never know; he appears to be a normal, active, big, teenager who runs, leaps and plays. For Luke, it is extremely important he is established with a primary vet and cardiologist. He will need heart medications for life. No one is sure how quickly Luke's heart condition will progress but the cardiologist believes his lifespan will be a bit shorter. Luke adores life and deserves a family of his own to love. He is gentle, confident and likes everyone he meets. Luke will be a wonderful, affectionate, loyal companion for a family committed to providing the care he needs to live his best life.
