About Mad Max

Mad Max is in fact, not mad at all. He's just the opposite and quite the happy, friendly boy. Mad Max is more of a homebody kind of dog and is looking for the same in his new family. Large crowds and excitement are a bit too much for him. Mad Max loves to show off for treats. He will sit and catch all the treats you want to toss at him. Mad Max is believed to be around 4 years old and is about 50 lbs. He has dog tested well here at the shelter but he doesn't need another dog friend in his new home. Mad Max's biggest requirements are a family that will hang out with him and share yummy snacks with him, as well as, a comfy place to sleep. We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.
