Taboo is a typical Australian Shepherd, and I don't mean hyper as most people think the breed is. She is athletic, intelligent, and affectionate. She was placed, but that home decided not to adopt. Her adoption fee would be used to spay her, and the remainder will be donated to Rescue Me, another rescue organization, or ASHGI which is an organization that does research and development in regards to health issues that Australian shepherds are prone to. Taboo is quite shy with strangers, so her new family would have to be willing to spend some time with her before taking her home. It would be best if her new family is willing to take her to obedience classes, not because she isn't obedient, but because of her shyness, and the fact that it would help to develop a stronger bond. In addition, due to her athleticism she will need a yard with at least a 5 foot secure fence. She also is NOT a dog to be left outside. She is a house pet. Her biggest issue is fear of loud noises. She would be the kind to take off during a storm or fireworks, so would need to be secured. If you are interested in Taboo, you will be sent a link to an adoption application to be considered.
