Will the luck of the Irish help this guy find a home? Meet LUKE! This very handsome 1 year old (born on 3/17/2020) found himself in a shelter in the south that no longer had room for him, so his luck definitely came through when he found his way to New England. Luke weighs about 65 lbs., and has been given a clean bill of health from the vet. Some of Luke's favorite things are playing with toys (especially if they squeak!), going on sniffaries where he has a chance to take in all the sights and sounds of the outdoors, snuggling and giving kisses, training (he's very smart and loves to learn new things), and car rides. BTW, he is a perfect gentleman in the car! Luke has played with both male and female dogs in the shelter environment, but has not been exposed to cats yet. He would be required to meet potential canine housemates prior to adoption. Kids 12 and older would be fine, as he's a big, exuberant young guy that could knock down little ones. You could be holding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for this wonderful guy! If you think he might be a good match for you, please contact Pope Memorial Humane Society at [email protected]. Luke says 'Thank You'!!
