Hi there! My name is Pearlie, and I am a sweet, friendly, laid-back blue tabby (with a few white and caramel spots) DSH gal with gorgeous eyes like gold coins who was born in August 2020. I'm a little shy in the beginning but warm up quickly when I get to know you. I'm very 'chilled out' in case you're looking for a kitty who's calm and not crazy, like some of the cats in my foster home can be. I get along great with the little resident dogs, but frankly the herd of cats around here overwhelms me! But I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth -- I'm definitely lucky to be safe in foster care! I showed up -- cold, abandoned, and alone -- at a feral colony feeding station just before Winter Storm Uri. Eventually the caretaker realized that I'm anything but feral! She surmised from my friendliness that I was someone's young pet who had gotten out but lost her way back home. The other cats were being mean to me anyway, so the kind lady scooped me up and brought me inside and into Buster's Friends' foster care. Oh the relief to kiss the hardscrabble, dumpster-diving, street life behind! Plenty of food in the climate-controlled indoors is the life for me! I'm a calm, friendly little girl who just wants to find someone to love me forever!
