About Cooper

Meet and greets will be held in TARZANA, CA https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php?id=17980 COOPER is Approximately 1-2 yrs old, he weighs 16 lbs, and is a male Poodle/Maltese Mix with a gorgeous Apricot and white soft coat and long tall legs! Cooper came into the shelter as a stray with another dog (a Schnauzer) but we have decided to adopt them out separately. The other dog is very protective of Cooper which causes issues with the other dogs and people. We are requesting that his adopter agree to keep his name and he will come with a brand new collar, leash and harness. Cooper was horribly matted when he came into the shelter and he has been groomed with a close cut to get all of his mats removed. His coat is absolutely amazing so when it grows back he is going to be stunning. Cooper is a little bit shy at first, but after he gets to know you, he is very friendly. Our preference is a home without dogs (we are open to possibly a home with one other dog of the same size), a single family home with a yard and no children under the age of 12 yrs old. Cooper is leash trained, house trained using a doggie door (some transitions will apply to a new home) and he is just a well rounded and good natured dog. Cooper is microchipped, current on vaccines and is neutered and he would love nothing more than a forever family to call his own.
