About Zeke

Background: I am 'fostering' a friends 5 year old pit to prevent him for going to a shelter. He does become territorial to strangers in or around the home and around the family. No issues with the actual family that included mom, dad, and several children under the age of 10. I have had him for a couple months and I have not had any issues with him. The trainer said it was because I am a strong leader in my home and I don't let him feel like he is aloud to 'own the house.' I want his next home to be his forever home. I wish I could keep him but I am already at my housing limit. I just want him to be safe and find someone that understands what a territorial dog really is and what he needs, so they can keep him healthy and happy. In the time I've had them has been around several dogs including friends dogs that we have babysat and he has been around several different people that he does not know including my sons friends and my friends would've come to the house. He does come with a training stipend.
