About Bubbles

Bubbles was abandoned in a house with several other dogs after their owners were evicted. She is a young, one year old Chihuahua mix mama who weighs about 11.75 pounds. She is so sweet and loves to snuggle! She follows her foster family everywhere. Bubbles will climb up in anyone's lap. She loves everyone and just wants to be loved in return! She is snuggly and cannot control her licker! If you avoid her kisses, she will figure out how to sneak one in. She loves to sleep with in the big bed, snuggled up back to back with her foster mom, and would make the perfect puppy heating pad! Bubbles tells you when she has to do her business outside, and does well with potty training when she is taken out regularly. She will also use the potty pad if one is out for her. She runs and hops like a gazelle through the yard and she definitely needs a fence to keep her safely at home. Bubbles gets along great with the resident pups, both large and small, but she would probably also make a good only dog as long as she wasn't left alone for long. She has not been tested with cats or young children, but is good with the older kids in her foster home. Bubbles doesn't like being left behind at all. She gets distressed, which is perfectly understandable considering her background. A couple of hours alone will be ok, but she doesn't like to be left alone for an extended amount of time. She has had a full wellness check, is up to date shots, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Her spay is scheduled at our vet soon and is covered by the rescue. She is heartworm positive and has started treatment, which is covered by the rescue. She will be re-tested in one year and if she is still positive we will treat her again and retest again, all at the rescue's expense.
