About FELIX

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. FELIX and his siblings (KONA - PELE - RINGO - PRISCILLA - LULU) were saved from the shelter. They were so scared and underaged, so we had to find a foster quickly! So now FELIX is ready for his FUREVER home! FELIX s a curious cat who loves to follow you around and investigate what you're doing. He goes crazy when he hears a can of wet food open because he thinks he deserves the whole can for himself. He enjoys cuddling with his brothers and sisters and also loves to curl up in your lap for a nap. He is a playful and sweet boy who is looking for his OWN family!! FELIX is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / BOMBAY MIX. He is a little shy of 6 months old and is good with cats and small children. In his foster home, he was around other kittens and older cats. FELIX is currently located at PETSMART In Palm Desert, Ca off Monterey Avenue. OCTOBER 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any of the PETSMARTS listed below. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home ************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS *********************** You can obtain an application one of 3 ways. The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located (or the others listed below) and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. You may ask the volunteer if you can briefly meet the cat / kitten. But please be aware some of them might not be comfortable to let you meet the pet due to COVID. PETSMART locations where avaliable applications for WORKIN' WHISKERS can be picked up: PETSMART in Murrieta, Ca off Madision Avenue in Hemet, Ca off Florida Avenue on Palm Desert, Ca off Monterey Avenue The 2nd way is to request an application. The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . Please include the PET'S NAME in the subject line and email us directly: [email protected] Please do not email us asking if the cat is still available. Email us to request an application or ask questions not answered for you on their ad. The 3rd way is to find OUR ONLINE APPLICATION form. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. FELIX is ALREADY fully vetted.
