About Oliver

Oliver/Cisco was adopted as a puppy from doggie jail, then, left behind when his family moved without him. The neighbor took him in just to offer him a life on a chain in the yard and surrendered him back to doggie jail a couple years later. This was before Alljoy4paws came in to rescue this sweet doll eyed husky! We rescued him with several medical issues which over time, improved significantly with the help of temporary fosters. Oliver overcame his medical condition with a torn ACL, struvite crystals in his bladder and painful UTI. After several months of tender loving care from his fosters, Oliver is now enjoying his life. He loves the water, aka a large flat plastic bin, at his current foster mom's home and enjoys his time with three other dogs. Oliver enjoys the company of small and large kids and would do very well in a home with other dogs. He understands other dogs and respects boundaries. He learned to share food with his doggy friends and is no longer food aggressive. He is crate trained for indoor living and also, enjoys being in the great outdoors. He has the cutest swag when he walks and enjoys cuddles on bed. This is what his foster mom has to say about him, ' I truly believe Olivers's ACL's are healed. He now runs full speed, can jump and play like other dogs. He no longer topples over. He has no urine or bladder problem and no longer has diarrhea. Oliver's fur is now so soft and fluffy from bathing and brushing plus the quality diet I give him. He is sweet,lovable,plays well, and eats and sleeps well.'
