About Tank

Tank is 4 years old, but FULL of life, love and energy. Tank took a couple days to get acquainted with his new living situation, but after that, he made himself at home! Tank's past was evident that he had been neglected due to his lack of basic commands. He seems to be catching up on puppyhood, however! Tank is not a big fan of crates, as of often fights them... and wins! I've taught Tank how to sit, stay and he has progressed waiting and being patient! He's very smart and learns quickly! Very treat motivated! Breakfast and dinner are his favorite times of the day! He is not a resource guarder when it comes to his food and treats with his human(s). Tank loves chew toys, and if he had it his way, could turn anything into a toy! Once you get acclimated with Tank and you are deemed his hooman, he is extremely loyal, playful and wants to be by your side every second, everywhere you go. When you come home to him, he makes you feel like the most important person in the world! He loves giving kisses and hugs!! He walks well on a leash and loves running around in the backyard. In reality, Tank needs a home preferably where he's the only dog because he seemed to be territorial when meeting my dogs in my house for the first couple times. Tanks is Heartworm positive but the rescue is taking care of that.
