About Remy

This is Remy, a 9 months old Australian Cattledog. He weighs about 50 pounds. Remy is house and crate trained. He also knows how to use a dog door. He knows basic commands (sit) plus will give a paw on command. Due to Covid, and neighbor kids who poke at him through the fence, Remy hasn't had a lot of chances to meet nice, new folks. He can be scared and will need someone who goes slow and shows him that people are good. He will appreciate a quiet home in a less urban environment where the neighborhood is not too busy. Remy does live with his siblings and plays with them. He hasn't been socialized with other dogs beyond his siblings, so should be an only dog to start. His adopters will need to work on socializing him. Remy is a fun guy with his people. He loves to fetch and tug. He is a smart guy who likes level 1 dog puzzles. He also liked frozen Kongs. He is leash trained but pulls. He will need someone to work on pulling less. He is fine in a car but can sometimes get motion sickness. He does like to be outside wity his people, hiking or camping, so will be a good adventure buddy. Handsome Remy is a cuddle bug who often demands attention from his people. He is best friend material. Remy is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Apple Valley, CA. We do not ship our dogs. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required.
