About Clyde

Adoption Fee: $200
German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Clyde is a registered purebred German Shepherd and is looking for a forever home that has a lot of property to run on. After Clyde gets to know people he is playful and cuddly, however it does take him some time to warm up to new people. Some of his favorite games are hide and go seek (with people and toys), collecting sticks and fetch. He loves his people and will want to spend a lot of time with you. We are looking for a new home for him as he has leash aggression and it is stressful to walk him around people and other dogs. We are looking to rehome him to someone who has some property so he can have a better life. This has been a hard decision and we are not in a hurry to rehome him as we want to make sure he goes to a really good, forever home. Clyde has EPI, an issue where his pancreas does not secrete an enzyme that aids in digestion. He has a supplement added to his food that has worked effectively and he has been in consistent good health for the past couple of years. Clyde is housetrained and is very well behaved in the house. In our experience, he has done well with small dogs and dogs that are not overly playful or dominant. We have a cat that he grew up with and is friends with however he has not been around other cats. He has not been around kids and needs to be in a kid free home. If you think Clyde would be a good addition to your family please email me and tell me about your experience with large breed dogs and the kind of life that Clyde would have with you.
