About Monk

Adoption Fee: $125
Rabbit
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Monk is a sweet, gentle and lovable, nine-month-old, four-pound, brown agouti, female lop-eared rabbit looking for a loving guardian. Monk is a true house rabbit who is learning to use her litter box (like a cat) and loves to hop around the house and explore. She has lived with many other rabbits, but now that she is spayed, she'd probably enjoy a male companion. At Friends of Petraits Rescue, she spends time in an exercise pen (not a cage) with her litter box and toys. She lets me pick her up for cuddles and is a very lovable and loving rabbit. Monk eats a diet of timothy and orchard hays, and enjoys nibbling on her fresh salads which include dandelion greens, Romaine, green and red leaf lettuces, parsley and cilantro and carrot tops with just the tip of the carrot. If you'd like to read up on rabbits and their care, please check out: http://www.rabbit.org/ Monk's adoption fee of $125 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is extremely healthy and spayed. Her entire set up including exercise pen, litter box, litter, toys, water bowl, hay and carrying case is available for an additional $100. To meet and possibly adopt sweet and beautiful Monk, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting [email protected] to make an appointment to meet her. She is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
