About PESTO

Pesto needs an EXPERIENCED dog owner, one who can work with a FEARFUL dog - she can be SNIPPY and will sometimes FEAR BITE. She was obviously mistreated because she's VERY shy and apprehensive at first, you will need to earn her trust. Right now, we are working with her but she often does not want to be picked up, she will roll over for belly rubs and bring you a toy to play with her but she often runs away when you try to pick her up. Pesto has obviously had a rough life, we don't know what happened, but she learned not to trust people, so she's VERY slow to trust and warm up but once she does, you'll see that she's playful, sweet-tempered, affectionate, lively, alert, and happy.
