Cheyenne was brought into our program when she was found wandering the streets. She did great with our dogs and cats for two weeks. Cheyenne was adopted by a great family who has a farm. They quickly found out that Cheyenne may have been used as a guard dog. She can easily scale a 4 ft fence to protect her property. Because of her protective nature, We feel that Cheyenne would do best in a home without other pets and at least a 6 foot fence. She has been fine with other dogs at the rescue facility, when introduced slowly, but a home without other visiting pets would be best. She does well with the dogs she lives with but her protective nature comes out when a dog enters the property without introduction.
