About Rhett

Meet Rhett! He is about 6/7 months old Aussie/Heeler mix! We think this boy is hard of hearing, but that doesn't stop him from living his best life. His foster says, 'Rhett is the biggest baby and was aptly nicknamed 'Puppy' by his fosters for his clumsy behavior and curiosity for the world around him (especially new foods). As a true family dog, he loves to follow everyone around and be surrounded by people. Since Rhetts not able to hear, he connects with others by cuddling with them despite being 30 lbs and growing. Rhett is extremely gentle with all people, including kids, although as a puppy he sometimes nips when he's playing. His fosters currently have 3 dogs, a puppy, a dachshund, and an older female. He respects the older dogs and their role while also playing gentle with the smaller dog. He loves to play with his foster's younger dog who is similar to Rhett in size. Rhett is also leash-trained and uses the doggy door. All in all, Rhett is the sweetest baby who loves cuddles, people, and dogs. He's very easygoing and adaptable to any environment. He is super excited to find a forever home where he can give all his love to a new family!'
