Courtesy Posting: GINGER LOSING HER HOME- 8 YR SHEP/CHOW/JINDO LOOKING MIX- PLS HELPS US FIND A GOOD ADOPTER/FOSTER/RESCUE Ginger Tempe AZ Ginger's owner of the past few years is unfortunately having to move across the country and unable to take her at her new home. She does not want to take her to a shelter where she may have little chance, or to euthanize her, so please help us find a rescue, foster or loving, responsible asap. Her owner says, 'She loves people and has never shown any dominant behavior or aggression to any human she's been around. Anyone who has met her comments on what a sweet dog she is. Ginger would do well with someone who has patience and wants a loving companion that will play with her and take her for short walks. She is very smart, too smart sometimes, but loves mental stimulation.'. Ginger is estimated to be approximately 8 years young, weighed 53 lbs at last vet visit when teeth work were done and Is in good condition. She is current on shots, spayed and chipped. Ginger has lived with a larger male dog who is submissive, and since she can be dominant at times with him, she might do best as an only dog. Please no cats or small children. Ginger does have a manageable medical condition that requires powder supplements that her owner can easily explain, and will also provide a small supply, and can be easily purchased afterwards. Ginger has some early hip issues not too surprising for a dog her age and takes supplements for this. We have additional pictures and videos we can share. We are either looking for an adopter, or foster we can pair with a willing rescue near the foster. A vet reference and home check may be required as we want to insure she goes to a responsible home.
