About Jake

Jake: 1.5 yr old, 14 inches, 13 lbs, cropped ears and docked tail. Shots up to date on all vaccinations. Rescued from shelter. Jake is a sweet, happy, one-and-a-half-year-old, chocolate and tan Min Pin with a docked tail and cropped ears. He was apparently dumped in a very rural area in the Central Valley heat and by the time he ended up in the care of the animal shelter, he was very thin. He is tall, and once he puts on enough weight to cover his ribs, he could weigh close to 17 or 18 lbs, so he's on the larger side and very robust. Jake is handsome now but will be stunning once he's at his proper weight. Jake gets along well with his doggy siblings and loves humans. He's easy going but a man on the move. He would do best in an active household where he is included in most everything. So far, he has not been destructive, but will play with anyone who will engage him. Jake is very smart and picks up on things quickly. He is already beginning to lead and knows to go outside with the rest of the dogs to do his business. He watched the other dogs using the dog door and it took him less than 5 minutes to figure it out. He will be ready for his forever home on June 11, so hurry up, put in your application and get it approved so he'll be ready for you. He will be a wonderful addition to the lucky family who is successful in adopting him.
