About Ava

Ava is a beautiful dog inside and out. Unfortunately we rescued her at about 6 months old from the shelter. She was abused and very fearful. We have sought professional training for her which helped some but she still is very fearful of strangers. However, once she knows and trust you, she's the most sweetest and loving dog. She is potty trained and has never had any accidents in the house since we got her from the shelter. She is very intelligent and submissive. She doesn't have as much energy as when she was a pup but she still can keep up and is active. Unfortunately, we had twins and she's become very jealous of them over the past 2 years. We haven't been able to give her the time or attention she needs and is in need of a home that is full of all the love and attention that she deserves. She is up to date on vaccines and gets regularly groomed once a month. Please know and understand that upon meeting Ava she may be scared and protective over us but just give her a chance to warm up.
