About Scout

scout Scout is an energetic German Shepherd (mix?) who is about 3 years old and weighs around 65lbs. She is a 'velcro dog' that loves being around her people and can suffer severe separation anxiety when left alone (howling/whining). She is fully house trained and knows the commands: sit, down, wait, no, okay and back up. She loves people and gets along well with most other dogs though has a bit of a herding instinct and may pick on a weaker dog when excited. Scout would enjoy a home with plenty of space to run around, and an active family to love and play with who are around most of the day. A rural setting might be a dream for Scout...she's even fine with chickens! Cats are unknown/untested. She is very sweet, does amazing in the car, and bonds quickly to her person. Scout is being fostered in Bend, OR.
