Please, let's get this very sweet boy noticed, and find an adopter, foster and or rescue ASAP before he is killed! Hero is described as the brightest, sweetest, gentlest old man! He is so patient for treats, takes them gently, & is an absolute love! Estimated to be 9 years young and weighing 83 lbs, and listed as a german shepherd mix (we believe he has a tiny bit of chow in him too). Hero has been overlooked at the shelter at least 46 days without anyone showing interest in him. He is no longer in public view & unable to go out in the play yard to decompress with volunteers due to becoming kennel stressed, but we have wonderful videos of him showing just how loving, happy and friendly he can be, posted on facebook. We think he may be a little chow in him too that gives him a calmer disposition.
