About Isabel

Isabel is a 5 yr old female Saint Bernard. She's a sweet, spunky gal who loves a good trot around the yard followed by a long nap. Attention and pets are her favorite! She loves to meet ALL the people and is very outgoing. She grew up with children in her former home and wouldn't mind having some around. She can be bossy with other female dogs, so a home with male dogs is what she needs. She would also be perfectly happy as an only dog. She ignores the pestering male bulldog puppy in her foster home and lived with small dogs in her former home. Good with cats. Isabel is housebroken and can be trusted left free in the home. She is crate trained but really isn't a fan. She can be a bit stubborn as saints can be. Her leash walking skills could use some work but that's understandable since she spent four of her five years chained to her dog house. That's the only sign you can see of her former life on a chain. She has an amazing personality despite that. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines and preventatives. She is currently in a foster home and the Nashville TN area. We do adopt out-of-state but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up. Out of respect for our foster family's time and privacy, we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an application on file.
