About Emma

Hello! My name is Emma and I am just the most lovable and beautiful Bull Terrier/Heeler/Australian Cattle dog mix. I am about 2 years old and weigh about 32 pounds. I am shy with strangers, but once I warm up to you I will always want to go wherever you go. Since I've been in Colorado I've learned that life is great! I love going for long walks, car rides, playing with my toys, playing with my foster siblings, and I really love to eat. I would really love to find my own family where I can have all of the attention in the world. I am the first one to greet my foster mom when she wakes up in the morning. I get so excited, because I can't wait for my day to begin. My tail wags like crazy and I can't wait to give my foster mom a big greeting. I know how to use a doggie door and I could use some training on how to walk more lady-like while on a leash. I am not an escape artist. If I am off-leash in the front yard, I know to stay close to home. Here are some cute things I do: 1) I roll on my back when I get nervous. I guess it's just my timid nature. 2) When I get a new toy, I get so excited and run outside to play with it. I'm hoping that you will go outside with me to play fetch. That is so much fun! 3) When it is time to go for a car ride I make a beeline for the car and then I jump right in. I love to sit in the front because I love to see where we're going. 4) I get very excited when it's time to eat. I run to where my food is and move my whole body as if I'm dancing. 5) When my foster parents come home I can't wait to see them. They can hear my voice the minute the garage door opens. (I try to be the loudest, so that they know it's me.) Other than that, I don't really bark much. 6) I love it when my foster parents pet me and give me a lot of attention. It's great when they are watching tv, because I always want to be right up next to them. My foster parents say that I am such an easy addition to their family. I am not destructive and I just have so much love to give. I hope you'll consider adding me to your family.
