About Chase

Bengal
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

West Valley City, UT Chase is a GORGEOUS eight-year-old purebred Bengal. He has energy for MILES. In fact - he has the energy level of a three-year-old cat, that's how busy and active he is. That last photo? Great example of why he is SO HARD TO PHOTOGRAPH. All he wants is love, head-butts, and more love. He never stays still!? ***If you are interested in adopting Chase, please fill out the Inquiry on our website - we cannot answer hundreds of individual questions via the RescueMe platform*** Application link: https://bengalrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Chase has been through a bit of a medical journey, until recently, and he is now thriving and ready for his forever home. At his prior home, his owner took him to the vet many times to address what was going on with his digestive system. They couldn't figure it out. Once he got to Bengal Rescue, our Veterinarian discovered that poor Chase had an undiagnosed Parasite that he picked up from a dog living in the home who had regular access to the outdoors. His AMAZING Foster made sure to get him treated and once we got him on the right medication and put him on a raw diet - he was completely transformed. He has now tested negative twice, over the last two months, so he is 100% healthy now. His Veterinarian has given us the green-light - he is finally ready to go to his forever home. Chase loves to FETCH. He loves his tall cat towers, and loves to sleep with his humans. He loves to give playful head-butts, and will make biscuits in your lap when you pet him. He is sweet, flirty, and loving. He will even cuddle if you let him make the choice to do so. If you are looking for a quiet Bengal, Chase is not for you. He is CHATTY. He loves to talk - and his voice is very loud, enthusiastic, and occasionally demanding. This is a guy who will always tell you what he wants, and when he wants it. ? Chase does NOT like harness walks. His owner tried, but Chase was not comfortable, even after lengthy tries. We would like him to go to a home that will not require him to go on walks, and who will keep him strictly indoors. Chase is on a Raw food diet, and he likes Vital Essentials Frozen Duck and Rabbit. He will need to remain on this diet in his new home (it's really easy!) - for more information read our article: https://bengalrescue.org/resources/feeding-your-cat/? As far as the litter box goes, Chase does a great job until the box is not clean. He needs to have a very clean litter box (2 or 3 depending on the size of your house), and his boxes must be scooped minimally AM and PM. ? Chase could do alright with an older dog in the home, but high energy dogs and noisy dogs scare the daylights out of him. He definitely does NOT like other cats. ? Chase does OK with children who have been taught proper play techniques but young children make him nervous. He would not be happy with loud noises, babies / toddlers. So if you have children they should be 10 years of age or older. ? Chase is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He was tested for FeLV / FIV and tested negative. ?
