Courtesy Posting: SUPER & LOVING SR - YIRO Smaller CHOW/RETRIEVER MIX NEEDS A LOVING HOME OR FOSTER - LOS ANGELES AREA Yiro is a super senior and very loving, but was sadly dumped in a kill shelter after being adopted as a puppy and a great pet for the past 10 years. His former owner described him as gentle and relaxed with children. The shelter added 'Yiro displays great kennel presence, is very friendly with people, is easy to leash, and walks well on the leash.' Yiro has also done well with other dogs. While we thankfully found a rescue, they are in need of a foster ASAP so he does not have to live the rest of his life in a cage. Please help us find a foster or permanent home asap, the rescue is happy to pay for future medical care if needed. Sweet Yiro is thought to be about 11 -12, and weighs only 45 lbs. He has already had his medical and skin conditon treated, his fur is growing back wonderfully. We also have videos of Yiro showing just how loving he is with people and a small dog.
