About Zeke

My name is Zeke and I was rescued from Texas. I am a heeler, border collie, husky mix. I am 5 months old and 33 lbs. I have one beautiful brown and one beautiful blue eye.��%BD%A0��%BD%A0I am going to be probably around 60 lbs as an adult.��%BD%A0��%BD%A0I was put on a chain in the back yard when my owners got tired of my puppy behavior. So they surrendered me to the rescue. The rescue says I am such a good boy. I love people even though my first family didn't give me the love I deserve. I am outgoing and very social.��%BD%A0��%BD%A0I am full of kisses and I am one happy boy. Like all puppies I need training and lots of companionship. I am doing well with my house training. I love other dogs.��%BD%A0 We require a fenced in back yard ( physical fence)��%BD%A0 and our policy is no small children under the age of 7. As many of our dogs come from a bad shelter environment or living conditions, most of our dogs need an adopter��%BD%A0who is home more.��%BD%A0This is for the best interest of the dog. Most of our dogs need��%BD%A0training and most importantly lots of companionship. We prefer to get them on a path of socialization and training from the onset.��%BD%A0 Therefore, we are looking for a home where someone is home more, such as retired, homemakers, someone who works out of the home or couples that work different schedules. We do not want our dogs crated for more than a few hours a day Zeke is neutered,��%BD%A0 microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
