About Tilly

Hi! My name is Tilly and I'm a CatahoulaDoodle. I may not look like a typical doodle, but my foster mom did embark genetic testing on me! I'm a doodle, dood! My foster mom saved me when she found me in terrible living conditions while she was on a vacation in Kentucky. She took me with no hesitation! I was thrown in a dog kennel out by the woods at 8wks old and left there for 2yrs with little to no human interaction. I had never been groomed or even had a bath! I also didn't have proper vet care and contracted heart worms, but my foster mom is taking very good care of me and I'm in the process of getting rid of those nasty worms! I'm going to be in treatment for the next 8 months. Maybe we can transfer treatment to your local vet? Or we can stay at mine! I really don't like small dogs / animals. I tend to fight with them and I'm much bigger. I get along with bigger dogs a little better, after I get used to them for a few weeks of course! I'm also not a fan of small children. I'd do better in a home with 13yrs+ kids, if any at all. They scare me very badly and I will nip if I feel like they're invading my space. I have a ton of energy! That comes from my catahoula side! I want to run, go on walks, play and play some more! I'm very active and athletic! I can jump 4ft fences like they're nothing. So I have to have a big privacy fenced yard. After play time my favorite thing is to lay next to you and get some love and pets. I'm a lovey dovey girl that just soaks up allll the attention! I'm a cuddle bug for sure.
