About Holly

**URGENT PLACEMENT FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION** Owner passed away. In very temporary care in a garage - we need a foster at the very least asap to save holly from going to the shelter! Her caretaker is taking her to the vet to update any vaccines or heartworm prevention she needs. Please complete an adoption application at www.rescueangelssomd.com if interested. If pet is listed, he/she is available. Holly is a 7 yr old boxer/jack russell terrier/feist mix. She is a senior sweetheart and loves to cuddle. Loves kids and would love a home that she can run and play with kids. Loves to go outside. No history with other dogs besides Ginger, a small dog she lived with that was just adopted. No history with cats and given her breed, she may look at cats and small animals as prey and may chase, so best to go to a home without cats for safety. It would be best to have an experienced person with dogs that can handle training and acclimating scared dogs that have been through major changes. A kind, patient, understanding person that won't give up on them no matter what. We are doing our best to keep Holly from going to the shelter. Holly is healthy, has a mild heart murmur (grade 2/6), was previously heartworm positive but was treated and now is heartworm and tick borne disease tested negative in 2019, bloodwork normal, and had 3 yr rabies and DHLPP vaccines in 2019 (not due again until 2022) and is spayed. Please help us help her!!
